Tenor. He was
born in Rome and he started to study singing at the age of
eighteen with Mº Ferroni as singer of pop music.
He has partecipated to and won
some vocal competitions in Italy. In a second time, under
suggestion of some voice teachers, he started to study opera
with Mrs. A. Minniti, improving his vocal skills with professors Piervenanzi
and G. Sorgi. He started therefore the study of opera repertoire
with professors L. Fiori, A. Leone, C. Ventura and A.
Inglese. In 1981 made his opera debut as Alfredo Germont in La Traviata
by G. Verdi at Brancaccio
Theatre of Rome. Later on he
partecipated to many opera productions,

among all singing in Il
Corsaro by
G. Verdi and Bohème by G. Puccini,
conducting M. Rinaldi and directing F. Valeri.
He was Iarba
(in the picture above) in the first world production of the scenic
cantata Didonis Interitus (The death of Dido) staged by MThI
at the "Cancelleria" Palace for the 45th "Certamen Vaticanum" of Latinitas Vaticana
Foundation.
He has also an intense concert
activity,
performing as soloist and in chorus ensembles, with a vocal
repertoire which go from the opera of first '800 to Verismo,
including light opera and operetta, traditional and classical
Italian songs (for instance the most famous classical Napoletana
songs).
