Management and communication for the performing arts

 

She has got her degree in “Human studies ad Music History” at the II University of Rome Tor Vergata, with a thesis on the “Dresden period of Francesco Morlacchi”. She attended then some courses and seminars in musicology: “Seminar on Music Analysis” Centro Studi Musicali Ferruccio Busoni, Empoli; “Music and FilmUniversity of Trento; “History of Russian Opera” St. Petersburg Conservatoire, Russia. Her musical training includes also studies as soprano, attending also vocal master classes: "Curso internacional de mùsica antiguaof Daroca (Spain); “International Musikseminar”  Franz Liszt   Hochschule  of  Weimar (Germany). She performed as singer in concerts  in Italy and abroad, as soloist and in chorus (Chorus Luca Marenzio  of  National  Academy of  St.  Cecilia,  Rome; Chorus of First Presbiterian Church of Evanston, Chicago IL USA).

She collaborated as cataloguer of musical score (printed and manuscript music) with the Istituto di Bibliografia Musicale (I.Bi.Mus.) of Rome and with ICCU. She participated as speaker at some international seminars and congresses on music history and management in Italy (Palestrina Foundation, Palestrina; S.I.d.M., Milan; I.Bi.Mus. Calabria, Rossano Calabro) and abroad (Fundación Cultural Sta. Teresa, Avila - Spain; Europäische Musiktheater Akademie - E.M.A., Ekaterinburg - Russia, E.M.A. Wien - Austria). She collaborates as free-lance journalist with the following magazines: Nuova Rivista Musicale Italiana, La Gazzetta della Musica, Prima Fila, Suono, Economia della Cultura, Musical!, fizz.it magazine online of Fizcarraldo.

Since 1994 she works in the management and communication for the performing arts, having followed some management courses held by important Universities: Luiss University of Rome; Europäische Musiktheater Akademie (E.M.A.), Germany; S.D.A. Bocconi University of Milan; The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Inc., Chicago IL USA; Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University Evanston/Chicago IL USA.

In this field she worked, with different mansions, for different cultural and performing arts companies and organizations in Italy and abroad, among which we mention: Fondazione Romaeuropa, Rome  Italy; Theatre company E.A.O.
